Helping to promote a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly alternative form of transportation for the residents of Carol Stream.

A bicycle can help your commute in many ways. The most direct way is through taking a bicycle from door-to-door; in the suburbs, this is practical for trips of less than 10 miles one-way. This page will highlight some tips regarding bicycle commuting.

Pace

Do you work further away? No worries; Pace currently maintains two routes (#709 and #711) through Carol Stream. If you don't live within a 5-10 minute walk of these buses, a bicycle can extend your commuting range.

Route #709 serves Birchbark Trail and the north side of Carol Stream, while route #711 serves Stratford Square and the east part of Carol Stream. Both buses have routes that end at the Union Pacific West - Wheaton train station.
